Generation 2 of The lid opener is the perfect tool for quickly laying cables in existing trenches with concrete lids, both on top and lowered types.
The lid opener is adjustable for lids up to 75 mm and a trench wall thickness of 50-80 mm. Can be adjusted for thicker walls if necessary.
The standard model is optimized for lids ranging from 345 mm to 645 mm in width but can be adjusted for lowered lids as small as 130 mm (recommended change of widening beams for lids smaller than 350 mm), adjustable from 142-670mm.
Adding an extension enables widening the opener to use on lids from 655 mm to 1055 mm with interior trench dimensions at 510-910 mm.
