Ground Compactor MAV is a powerful and efficient machine compactor with very high compaction values, low oil flow requirement and low noise levels. It is specially developed to function optimally under a tiltrotator* and is easy to adapt to different machine types.
Thanks to its damped construction and a high vibration frequency of 60 Hz, MAV generates a powerful, even compaction while being gentle on the excavator. The high frequencies reduce the risk of strong impacts to the machine’s boom, which provides a better working environment and longer life of the equipment.
Using the ground compactor mounted on a machine also increases safety, especially when working in trenches, as the operator can work from a safe distance. The ability to adjust the angle via the tiltrotator makes compaction more precise and efficient, even on sloping or hard-to-reach surfaces.
A newly develped hydraulic system with constant flow valve and pressure limitation provides safe and reliable operation. MAV is delivered as standard with a motor that can withstand high back pressure, with the possibility of choosing a motor with drainage as an option.
*Prerequisite for use under tiltrotator is according to requirements for oil flow and free return to tank.
