A tried and tested ballast tamper with low height that fits all excavators and cranes.
The tamper only weighs 680 kg and has a replaceable adapter enables use on both large and small machines.
The tamper packs with high frequency (60 Hz) and minimal noise levels. The tamper legs have adjustable clamping force and pack ballast very efficiently. New bearings developed together with leading ball bearing supplier. As standard equipped with adjustment plate 110 mm for 400 mm packing depth.
The latest generation has reinforced legs and newly developed hydraulic system with pressure compensated valve for hydraulic motor and pressure limitation for safe operation of the tamper legs. As standard delivered with motor with increased back pressure, as an option also available with motor with drain (additional charge).
The bolted handling bracket makes it easy to move and lift the RST using the gripper on the tiltrotator. Can be retrofitted on models with drilled holes.
