The Undercutter is suitable for road rail excavators with 14t – 24t operating weight. Can be mounted to existing rotator.
The undercutter goes under sleepers and rails from the side and cuts out the ballast bed. Damaged sleepers can easily be unscrewed and exchanged, before bringing back and tamping the ballast.
Available in three different lengths with cutting depths 2450, 3050 and 3650 mm.
The chain can easily be changed, thus reducing downtimes. Automatic, hydraulic chain tensioning.
