As standard, the sleeper changer is built for 1435 mm track gauge but can be adapted for other track gauges. It has adjustable depth and provides safe lifts through a load-holding valve.
Effective. The blade is used to remove ballast, the sleeper is then gripped by two hydraulically operated grips and pulled from the ballast bed. New sleeper is placed and the blade is used to refill ballast.
